It’s almost the holiday season and there is no better gift in town to give then matching a youth with a positive adult mentor. During this season of giving, the public is invited to invest time or to make a donation and help make a difference in youth’s lives.
The Christmas for Kids Campaign is a year-end appeal to support 70 youth in the Partners mentoring program with a goal of raising $100,000 by Dec. 31. The highlight event in this year’s campaign is a Life Skill activity that will take place Saturday, Dec. 3. Over 150 Northern Colorado youth, with adult mentors, will be set loose in local Walmarts, armed with a gift card and tasked with buying gifts for loved ones and in turn help them learn to appreciate the gift of giving.
